PicShrink ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our image compression application available on iOS and Android platforms.

2. Data Collection

PicShrink does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data, photos, or images. All image compression and processing happens entirely on your device. Your photos never leave your device and are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers.

4. Local Data Storage

Analytics Statistics: Total images compressed and storage saved, stored locally
App Preferences: Theme selection (dark/light mode), selected profiles, and format preferences
Premium Status: Whether you've purchased premium features

Important: This data is stored ONLY on your device and never transmitted to our servers. You can clear this data at any time through the app settings.

5. Permissions Required

PicShrink requires the following permissions to function:

Photo Library Access (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES): Required to select images you want to compress
Storage Access (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required to save compressed images back to your device
Internet Access: Only used for:
- Processing in-app purchases (Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase)
- Opening cloud storage links (Premium feature)
- Displaying privacy policy

We do NOT use internet access to upload your photos or collect any data about you.

6. Third-Party Services

PicShrink integrates with the following third-party services for specific functionality:

6.1 In-App Purchases

Google Play Billing (Android): Handles premium upgrade purchases
Apple In-App Purchase (iOS): Handles premium upgrade purchases

These services process payment information according to their own privacy policies:

6.2 Cloud Storage (Premium Feature)

Premium users can save compressed images directly to cloud storage services (Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud). When you use this feature:

You are redirected to the respective cloud service's website/app
PicShrink does not have access to your cloud storage
You manually upload the compressed image using the cloud service's interface
The cloud service's privacy policy applies

7. Children's Privacy

PicShrink is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 years of age. Since we don't collect any data at all, there is no risk to children's privacy.

8. Data Security

Since all processing happens locally on your device and we don't collect or transmit any data, your photos and information are as secure as your device itself. We recommend:

Using a strong device passcode/biometric lock
Keeping your device's operating system updated
Being cautious when sharing compressed images (they may contain metadata)

9. Your Rights

Since PicShrink does not collect any personal data, there is no data to access, modify, or delete. You have complete control over:

App Data: Clear compression history and analytics in Settings → History
Permissions: Revoke photo/storage access anytime in device settings
Premium Status: Managed through your Google Play/App Store account

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in this document and announced through the app. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision.

Continued use of PicShrink after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. International Users

PicShrink is available worldwide. Since we don't collect or transmit any data, there are no cross-border data transfer concerns. All processing happens locally on your device, regardless of your location.

12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). However, since PicShrink does not collect, sell, or share personal information, these rights do not apply to our app. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

13. GDPR Compliance (European Users)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since we don't collect personal data, most GDPR provisions don't apply. However:
